Nearly one hundred people, mostly women, took to the streets of Delmas 64, passing through Bourdon, to arrive in front of the offices of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. The organizers intend to put pressure on the government authorities to crack down on the bandits who sow terror in the country, especially in the capital. They criticized the behavior of the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, accused of turning a deaf ear.

Carrying placards and chanting harsh words at the authorities who are supposed to guarantee peace and security, the protesters denounced the fact that the target of the bandits is also women and more women, since kidnapping a man is likely to impoverish, bereave or mistreat women. If nothing concrete is done to bring peace to the country and improve the condition of women, they threaten to close the Primacy on April 3.

“Aba Kidnapin! “We need security in the country” chanted the demonstrators.

The de facto Prime Minister Ariel Henry since his arrival at the head of the Primature, if not as the supreme head of state currently, only enjoys the privileges that the office provides, abusing the people’s money, denounce several protesters.
It should be noted that during this march of the General Coordination of Women of the West of the Ayiti An Aksyon Party, the forces of order were calm this time, avoiding the brutality that characterized them especially during the last movements of workers to demand a salary adjustment.
The demonstration therefore ended without major incident.
