Prinston Jean Glaude, a native of Port-Salut, elected president of the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida

The Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida has a new president. A new leadership was elected at the annual meeting of members on February 23, 2023.

During this meeting, Prinston Jean Glaude was elected president of the HACCOF to replace Dr. Lumana Joseph who spent two years at the head of the chamber.

Before his unanimous election, Mr. Jean Glaude was vice president and member of the executive council.

In his acceptance speech, the new boss of HACCOF promised to continue the work of his predecessor to whom he paid a vibrant tribute for the exceptional work done at the head of this institution which is the pride of Haitians in the United States.

Several other members were also elected to head this important institution whose mission is to promote the Haitian companies members of the organization in Florida.

A native of Port-Salut in the southern department of Haiti, Mr. Jean Claude holds a master’s degree in information technology from Barry University. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Harvard Global Healthcare Executives Leaders Program.

Prinston Jean Glaude is also co-owner of the successful Primary Medical Care Centers, a network of 5 clinics operating in North Miami, Miramar, Lauderdale Lakes, Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach. He is also co-owner with his wife of two home care agencies located in Miami Lakes and Miramar, according to a HACCOF release sent to CaribbeanTelevisionNetwork.

Prinston Jean Glaude has already received important awards for his leadership and participation in community development efforts.

The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce was established in 2005 to “serve as an advocate for its communities as well as a resource for consumers and businesses dedicated to serving both the needs of its members and the economic development needs of the broader Haitian American community,” reads the release.

After the February 23, 2023 elections, the leadership of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce in Florida is as follows: Prinston Jean Glaude, President; Dr. Lumana Joseph, Immediate Past President; Jean G. Belizaire, Vice President; Carl Momplaisir, Vice President; Lory Freiman, Treasurer; and Dr. Stephanie Thomas, DHSc, MPA, Secretary.
