A new fire broke out Tuesday evening in the second city of the country while in the morning the funerals of 88 victims of the tragedy of December 13 to 14, were sung in the cathedral of the northern metropolis, against a backdrop of protest.
The historic market of the city was partially burned. The intervention of the fire department allowed to limit the damage.
The fire is probably of accidental origin knowing that the garbage is usually burned not far from this commercial center.
In addition, in the town of Léogâne, in the West department, an illegal fuel storage site caught fire on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was contained thanks to the solidarity of members of the population.
