After the arrest of the Director General of the Social Assistance Fund (CAS) Edwine Tonton for corruption. A former executive of the institution, Frantz Iderice, is targeted by a warrant and also hit by a departure ban, according to Radio Métronome.
This decision was taken by Judge Jean Wilner Morin, who is investigating the case related to the investigation conducted by the anti-corruption unit around cases of corruption reported within the public administration.
Edwine Tonton, current Director General of CAS, is accused of misappropriation of public property, complicity in forgery, influence peddling, criminal conspiracy and illicit enrichment.
She is incarcerated on the sidelines of her hearing, this Tuesday, April 25, by Judge Jean Wilner Morin.
Judge Jean Wilner Morin does not intend to stop there. He has issued a warrant for the former director general of the CAS Frantz Iderice and the current administrator of the institution Johanne Phanor.
It should be recalled that the former chief accountant of the CAS Pierre Richard Vales was also arrested for corruption.
