New victim of insecurity in Haiti: Maitre Yvon Pyram assassinated in Thomassin on Wednesday

CTN News

The infernal machine of insecurity has again claimed victims in the capital.

Yvon Pyram, a member of the Aquin Bar Association, was riddled with bullets by bandits on a motorcycle this Wednesday in Thomassin 30, a neighborhood in the commune of Pétion Ville.

After committing their crimes, the thugs left quietly according to witnesses.

For several years, armed bandits have been practically unstoppable. They kidnap, rape, and kill in complete peace.

The numerous operations launched by the national police have so far been unsuccessful.

Many people are forced to leave the country because of the prevailing insecurity.

Nearly two years after his installation as Prime Minister by the international community, Ariel Henry is still not able to protect the population.

In 2022, the homicide rate is on the rise, given that the beginning of the year is already very deadly, according to defense organizations.
