The President of the Senate of the Republic, Joseph Lambert, denounced the kidnapping of three agents assigned to his security, in the Haitian capital, January 8.
According to the parliamentarian, the agents were aboard a vehicle when they were attacked by armed bandits, on Rue Rivière not far from Avenue John Brown, commonly called Lalue.
The elected representative of the Southeast described this triple kidnapping as an act of intimidation at a time when debates are turning to the end or not of the mandate of the 10 remaining senators from January 10, 2022.
