On Tuesday, several trucks of goods were hijacked by the thugs who control the 3rd district of Port-au-Prince.
While these thugs had announced that the road would be clear, on December 14, small retailers took them at their word and attempted to cross the Martissant neighborhood.

Words of bandits, words of disbelievers. The gangsters hijacked several trucks of goods and sequestered their drivers.
“For several days, I have been sleeping under the stars, in the Champ de Mars area, near the UDMO base, waiting for the gunmen to cross a goods truck”, declared a shopkeeper, dead at heart, on the airwaves of Radio Caraïbes on Tuesday morning.
The truck was hijacked and its driver kidnapped, added the lady who called for the good grace of these armed people who are the law in Martissant, Fontamara and “Village de Dieu”.
In the meantime, we learned of the kidnapping of a doctor, Monday night, near the premises of the State University Hospital (HUEH), known as the General Hospital, while the day before, we announced the sudden death of Dr. Makendi Guerrier in Santo Domingo, victim of a kidnapping attempt last December 4.
