Guy Frantz Arismé and Kervens Porcéus, 2 conveyors arrested and imprisoned, in Hinche, for fuel trafficking.

The National Police would have proceeded, Saturday, to the arrest of Guy Frantz Arismé and Kervens Porcéus, 2 transporters, accused of having diverted their fuel delivery to resell it on the black market, in Hinche, in the Center department.

The tanker is said to be carrying 9,000 gallons of petroleum products that were allegedly distributed to “Kabayi”, we learned.

During the press conference of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), on November 9, in Musseau, in Pétion-ville, the Minister of Defense, Enold Joseph, had indicated that the carriers had hijacked 30 full tankers of fuel dedicated to the Great South.

The president of the Association of Service Station Owners (ANAPROSS), Marc Antoine Dériphonse, stepped up to defend the drivers, indicating that this information did not reflect reality at all.
