CTN News

The leaders of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) ask, this Thursday, March 31, the officials of the Federation International Football Association (FIFA) to reschedule the match of the Algerian selection against its counterpart of Cameroon counting for the playoffs of the world Qatar 2022 following a statement published on its website.
“The FAF has filed an appeal with the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) against the scandalous arbitration that distorted the result of the playoff match Algeria vs Cameroon played on March 29 at the Stadium of Chahid Mustapha Tchaker of Blida,” wrote the body.
On the other hand, it is determined to use all legal remedies and channels to restore the facts and facilitate a climate conducive to the replay of the match in conditions that ensure honesty and partiality of the refereeing.
In addition, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) also requests the opening of an investigation by the regulatory bodies of FIFA in order to shed light on the refereeing of this meeting, according to the statement.
It must be said that the former president of the Algerian Football Federation Charaf-Eddine Amara, who has resigned, does not share the approach, calling to think about the future of preference.
