The General Directorate of Customs promises better services for the new fiscal year

The Directorate General of Customs is committed to improving the partnership and communication “Customs-Economic Operators” for the new fiscal year 2022-2023, in order to provide better services to all its partners.

In a note made public Saturday, October 1, 2022 on the occasion of the new fiscal year, the General Directorate of the AGD promises to redouble its vigilance in carrying out its mission of protection, in order to participate more effectively in the protection of health and safety of the population.

The General Administration of Customs also thanked the employees for their professionalism during the end of the fiscal year 2021-2022, having allowed the institution to perform its main missions with efficiency despite the difficult conditions, the note said.

The general management of the General Administration of Customs has taken advantage of the beginning of the fiscal year 2022-2023 to reassure its employees, while promising to continue working to improve their working conditions.
The new Director General of the General Administration of Customs Julcene Edouard intends to do everything possible to improve relations between the management and the customs partners. Several meetings with representatives of employers’ organizations, traders, and training sessions for executives of the institution have been organized. Those that have allowed the AGD to collect eight billion gourdes for the month of August. A historical record, the state entity said.
