The National Police announced the arrest of Lumacson Mathieu. Lumacson Mathieu is accused of having supplied several assault rifles including T65, M4 and AR-15 and thousands of rounds of ammunition to gang leaders including Izo, Ti Lapli and Isca, the main gang leaders controlling the southern entrance to the Haitian capital. These facts were acknowledged by the police authorities.
In a video published by the PNH, Lumacson Mathieu, presents himself as assistant head of department at the National Old Age Insurance Office (ONA) in addition to working as a security agent at the Parliament……
This Friday, May 20, the Haitian National Police informed that they arrested, on 5th Avenue, Molaï Ortiz Mieses, a Dominican national, right-hand man of Ti Lapli and Ery Joselus, alias “Ti Georges”, as well known. He was apprehended for his alleged involvement in cases of kidnapping and criminal association, according to the police institution.
At the same time, the PNH reported the arrest of Yòyò, an alleged bandit, intercepted on May 18, 2022, in Grande-Rivière-du-Nord. Yòyò was actively sought by the police for his alleged involvement in acts of kidnapping, rape, burglary and theft of motorcycles in the Central Plateau…
The police also indicate that they foiled a kidnapping attempt yesterday, Thursday, and freed a little girl at Carrefour Rita in Clercine. But the kidnappers had time to escape. ….
The PNH reported that an individual was fatally wounded during the same day, in Gérald Bataille, in exchanges of fire with the police. He is said to specialize in motorcycle theft.
