Real Madrid/Paris-Saint-Germain, the star match of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16

CTN News

Real Madrid and Paris-Saint-Germain will face each other in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, following the draw held on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland, at UEFA headquarters. The Parisian and Madrid stars will play each other on February 15 in Paris and March 8 in Madrid. This will be the opportunity for Sergio Ramos or Lionel Messi and Neymar to meet Real Madrid.
Ramos is a living legend of the club Merengue left last summer for Paris.

The Argentine ace and the Brazilian genius had often hurt the Socios when they played together at Barcelona.
It will also be a match within the match between the two attacking companions of the French team, Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema, the two strong men of their club.

In the other big games, Cristiano Ronaldo will meet Atletico Madrid with Manchester United and Inter Milan will face Liverpool.
Benefica-Ajax, Salzburg-Bayern Munich, Sporting-Manchester City, Chelsea-Lille and Villarreal-Juventus complete the round of 16 of the prestigious competition.

The first leg will be played on 15-16 and 22-23 February, the second leg on 8-9 and 15-16 March. The first one proposed a tempting Paris-Saint-Germain/Manchester United, with the famous Messi/Cristiano duel in sight. But it was marred by irregularities due to a problem and UEFA had to cancel it.
“Due to a technical issue with an external service provider’s software that tells officials which teams are eligible to play the others, a hardware error occurred during the draw. As a result, the draw has been declared void and will be completely redone at 9:00″, the European soccer governing body had said in a statement.
