Pelo menos 4 pessoas foram feridas por balas em Jacmel. O trabalho dos oficiais da Polícia Nacional que dispararam à altura do homem sobre cidadãos que estavam denunciando a insegurança e a deterioração das condições sócio-econômicas no Haiti. As vítimas foram transportadas para um hospital na cidade.

Os pneus queimados foram erguidos em várias artérias da cidade, de acordo com nosso correspondente permanente em Jacmel.

Os manifestantes denunciam o governo que, segundo eles, é o responsável pela situação. Eles prometem continuar o movimento a fim de obter a saída do Primeiro Ministro de facto Ariel Henri.

Movimentos de protesto têm sido organizados em vários outros departamentos do país, tais como Artibonite e o Sul.
Durante as manifestações em Porto Príncipe na segunda-feira, pelo menos uma morte e vários feridos foram registrados.
