The head of government met, Wednesday, hundreds of children with special needs accompanied by their parents in a ceremony in advance of Christmas and the New Year at the office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH).
On this occasion, Ariel Henry said that he has put in place a government to facilitate the inclusion of all segments of society in the economic and political life of the country.
He also acknowledged that this year has been extremely difficult for Haitian citizens. However, he welcomed the initiative of the officials of BSEIPH and MAST, to commemorate the holidays and the New Year especially with people with special needs.
The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), Pierre Ricot Odney, who welcomed the support of the head of government, promised to support all initiatives of the office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities in favor of these citizens.
He emphasized the strengthening of the fight against discrimination against these people in the labor market.
