Haiti-Politics : Joseph Lambert reappointed as President of the Third Senate

CTN News

The “third” of the Senate has a new board while keeping Joseph as president.

As recommended by the rules of procedure of the institution, elections were held on January 11 to renew the members of the office.

With 7 votes for, one against and one abstention, Mr. Lambert was re-elected by his peers.

The elected representative of the Southeast did not hide his joy on his twitter account indicating that he is in his position until January 2023 as if to signify his triumph in the context of the arm wrestling match with the executive and other actors around the issue of the end or not of the mandate of the 10 remaining senators last January 10.
It should be noted that Senator Kédlair Augustin was elected to the vice-presidency of the Senate and Ralph Fethière was re-elected to the Qesture.
