Haiti/ Kidnapping: Liberation for ransom of trade unionist Paul Loulou Chéry and his wife on January 17

The bandits released the trade unionist Paul Loulou Chéry and his wife Ginette Appolon on January 17, after the payment of a ransom of 60 thousand U.S. dollars.
They had been kidnapped and held since January 5 in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets.

The trade unionist confirmed that he was kidnapped by the 400 Mawozo gang, as well as the amount paid to recover his freedom with his wife.
