Embroiled in a scandal of sexual harassment of his own daughter, Pastor Armel Lafleur is forbidden to leave the country following a decision taken by the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince, Jacques Lafontant.
Pastor Armel Lafleur, who was supposed to present himself to the Port-au-Prince Public Prosecutor’s Office this Wednesday, January 4, 2023, requested, through his defense office, a postponement of the invitation to the fortnight. However, the head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office rejected this request. He invites the concerned person to present himself on Monday, January 9.
The noose seems to be tightening around Armel Lafleur who has just been hit by a departure ban.
