Flooding in Brazil: Damage recorded

CTN News

Since the beginning of December until now, heavy rains are falling on several states of Brazil. São Paulo, Paraná and South Minas Gerais are the most affected states.

On Monday, in the south of São Paulo in Moema, cars were washed away while others were seen under water. An entire street in the same area was blocked because of a falling tree that hit a building.

Authorities have not yet reported any loss of life. However, the damage is considerable.

It must be said that the center for the management of climatic emergencies foresees more rain for this Wednesday, December 7th in São Paulo.
Flood and landslide warnings are still in place throughout the state of São Paulo, in Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais in particular.
