Yves Marie Périclès died at his home on Thursday, December 22, 2022, on his 65th birthday. He succumbed to an asthma attack.
The medical report of death was made by Dr. St Phard GULNES, director of the Immaculate Conception Hospital. He confirmed the death of the dean of the civil court of Port-de-Paix, Louis Marie Yves PERICLES.
The news of his death is a real shock for the legal profession of Port-de-Paix and for the North-Western population in general. In addition to his function as Dean of the Civil Court of Port-de-Paix, Yves Marie Périclès also worked as a literature teacher at the most prestigious high school in the city, Tertulien Guilbaud, as well as in other schools in the city of Valparaiso.
“Mèt Ti Pa” as he was called, was very appreciated in the milieu.
His departure leaves a great void in the judicial and educational systems in Port-de-Paix.
