The director of the hit film Freda in a foreign land, Gessica Généus, is stunned after her film was hacked and uploaded to YouTube. The link to her gem is even being shared through social networks WhatsApp and Facebook.
On Sunday, June 12, she made a post on her Facebook page aimed at the students of INAGHEI who have put her film on display as part of their activity called: “Fridays INAGHEI” at the insignificant price of 50 gourdes per session.
Géssica Gédéus wrote: “Ti mesye mete zam bò tèt mwen epi mande m lajan. Y ap prepare yon toune pou Ayiti epi nou menm n ap fè afè pa nou san okenn moun nan pwodiksyon an pa okouran”… Yesterday she made another rather lengthy post expressing her disappointment and commitment to the film:
“Freda pa pou Mwen. Se Mwen ki ekri, se Mwen ki reyalize li. Mwen pase 4 lane travay sou li san Mwen pa peye tèt Mwen pou fèl men a la fen, li pa pou Mwen paske yon fim se pou peyi ki mete plis lajan ladann nan li ye.
Kòm se ministè kanaval (e menm sa mal fèl) nou genyen, Mwen pat jwenn ase lajan Ayiti poum te fèl. Sipò FOKAL ak Ambasad Swuis pat ase pou banm pouvwa sou fim nan.

Under this last publication more than one made comments of support to the movie star in the face of this sad reality. The film was available on some YouTube pages until Tuesday night. But, the next day, it was no longer there because these pages were flagged and a note mentioned that: “This video is no longer available due to a copyright infringement claim sent by SaNoSi Productions. 3 months ago, the movie Vacation of Big O (Olivier Martelly) was pirated and available on YouTube.
