The U.S. government hosts two major suspects in the investigation of the assassination of Jovenel Moïse namely Mario Antonio Palacios and Rodolphe Jaar (Dodof).
The latter recently apprehended in the Dominican Republic, was transferred on January 12 to the United States.
According to information gathered by ZoomHaitinews, he promised his cooperation to the U.S. authorities in exchange for a reduction in his sentence.
The former drug trafficker revealed to the New York Times that he financed the plot against the deceased president to the tune of 130,000 dollars.
