The Haitian National Police is offering a reward of ten million gourdes to anyone who can provide information for the capture of Vitelhomme Innocent, the all-powerful leader of the KRAZE BARYÈ gang, which operates in several areas of the commune of Pétion-Ville.

The police authorities have filed several charges against the kingpin of Torcel. Kidnapping and kidnapping for ransom, murder, attempted murder, rape, armed robbery, vehicle theft, looting, and destruction of property are among the charges against Vitelhomme.

Wanted by the national police for many years, Vitelhomme Innocent continues to defy the police authorities. Several operations have been carried out by the specialized units of the PNH in an attempt to neutralize him, so far without success. On the contrary, the gang led by Vitelhomme Innocent is accused in the recent death of three police officers in Metivier last week. During this operation, which cost the lives of three officers assigned to the Pétion-Ville police station, one officer was reported missing and another was seriously injured.

As part of Operation Tornado 1 announced by the Director General of the Haitian National Police, a large-scale intervention involving several specialized units of the HNP is underway this Sunday in the stronghold of Vitelhomme Innocent in Torcel announced the HNP on its Facebook page.

After the U.S. State Department, which had put a million U.S. dollars for any information to capture the kingpin of Torcel for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of U.S. missionaries, it is the turn of the PNH to use the same procedure.
