A Kenyan officer from the Multinational Security Mission (MSS) was injured today in Ségur-Savien during an operation conducted in Pont-Sondé.
According to initial reports, the officer was quickly taken care of and is currently being evacuated to Level 2 Hospital at LSA 1 for appropriate medical treatment.
The information was revealed by the Multinational Security Force, which published a brief message on its WhatsApp channel:
“Today, Sunday, February 23, 2025, one of our Kenyan MSS officers was injured in Ségur-Savien during an operation in Pont-Sondé. The officer is currently being evacuated to Level 2 Hospital at LSA 1,” the MSSM wrote.
This news comes as MSS forces continue their efforts to stabilize the region, which remains marked by ongoing tensions and violence.
Authorities have yet to provide further details regarding the officer’s condition or the exact circumstances of the incident.
