Cuatro personas, entre ellas dos policías, murieron en un tiroteo en Carrefour-Feuilles a primera hora de la noche del martes, durante un control rutinario de agentes de la policía nacional.

Dempsey Denis, de 32 años, agente 1 y Prévilus Jean Gardy, respectivamente de la 27ª y 31ª promoción, están destinados en la comisaría de Marché Salomon. No sobrevivieron al ataque. Mientras patrullaban, su convoy fue atacado.

Los policías atropellados sucumbieron a sus heridas tras ser trasladados de urgencia al hospital, según el portavoz del PNH, Gary Desrosiers.

En este tiroteo se registraron varios heridos más, según declararon varios testigos a Zoom Haiti News.

La inseguridad sigue haciendo estragos en el país. Y la policía sigue siendo el principal objetivo de los bandidos armados
