The sudden death of Haitian artist Michael Benjamin, known as Mikaben, on stage in France while performing with the group CARIMI on October 16, has caused grief around the world. Several cases of death in circumstances almost similar to that of the Haitian super star have followed.
The latest case concerns the star presenter of Gen X Radio in Suffox, the British Tim Gough who died suddenly yesterday Monday while hosting his show.
A shock that has the British radio world in an uproar. Tim Gough, 55, was known as a warm and caring guy according to the general manager of Gen X Radio who knew him for over 30 years.
Last Thursday, Britain lost another of its artistic personalities. Actress Josephine Melville died backstage at the Nottingham Playhouse after performing her play Nine Nigth. Josephine Melville was also a director and writer.
She died immediately after her performance. Care by paramedics and a trained member of the public did little to save her life.
Ms. Melville was an activist for worthy causes. She was involved in a project in 2021 to celebrate and preserve the history of black women’s hair.
A week ago, a 44-year-old judge died in the middle of a court hearing, apparently of a heart attack.
The rapid response of the Paris fire department and attempts by the doctors on the scene to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
Numerous cases of sudden death have been recorded around the world since the beginning of the year.
