The coalition of lawyers for the defense of human rights (CADDHO), confirmed the kidnapping of two lawyers, Wednesday, in the capital, while they were on their way to the Palace of Justice, on Avenue Harry Truman, commonly known as Bicentenaire.
One of the lawyers answers to the name of Dorcéus Rock Manette Delervil, said the coalition.
This structure, which condemned these new cases of kidnapping, demanded the release of the members of the “basoche” and criticized the authorities for not having been able to restore a safe climate in the country as they promised in the run-up to the end-of-year holidays.
The leaders of CADDOH announced a sit-in in front of the offices of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), to denounce the permanent insecurity and force the authorities concerned to assume their responsibilities.
“Lawyers cannot continue to pay the price of insecurity,” said CADDOH leader Arnel Rémy.
