The governor of the state of Goiás decreed three days of tribute to the very popular young Brazilian singer whose funeral took place on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the gymnasium of Goiâna Arena, which can accommodate 15,000 spectators.
The queen of sertanejo (Brazilian musical style) had a well-deserved tribute. Many artists from the South American giant had made the trip including the sisters Mariara and Maraisa, Henrique and Juliano as well as Murilo Huff, the father of his son, were in the fire engine which carried the coffin of Marília sitting all around.
Her remains were buried in the cemetery: ”Parque Memorial”
Marilia Mendonça died on Friday, November 5, 2021 in the crash of a small plane-taxi in the state of Minas Gerais.
The tragic disappearance of the very popular young singer has thrown Brazil into turmoil.
