Yemi Alade who should perform this weekend in Montreal at the Festival Nuits africaines has been refused a visa to enter Canada for a surprising reason: “The risk of seeing her settle in the country permanently”.
In view of her performances around the world (in Europe, in the United States) and her fortune, it is hard to believe that she was refused for a reason like this.
