After several years of absence on the local scene, the Haitian singer Dieudonné Larose revives with the public at the invitation of the mayor of Delmas. On Friday, July 1, within the walls of the municipal palace, the mayor of the town of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy has honored the interpreter of the popular song “Allo Limbé”.

On this occasion, the lead vocalist of Missile 727, darling of the lovers of “Konpa” of the 90’s, preached brotherly love and unity between the compatriots.
It was the interim executive officer of Delmas himself who welcomed the former singer of Missile 727, Dieudonné Larose at the Municipal Palace. For the first time since his departure abroad, the artist returns to the fold. The joy radiated on the faces of some and others. It was a nostalgic Wilson Jeudy who introduced the legend Dieudonné Larose.

Between poem and eulogy, the mayor of Delmas praised the immense talent and heritage of Dieudonné Larose who has worked in several musical formations including Shoogar Combo, DP Express and especially Misil 727 which he founded. A plaque of honor was awarded to this poet who sang about love, sharing and national unity.

Sweatshirt, Lacoste shirt, jogger, all in white, bling blings around the neck, flabbed with sunglasses, this is how the star singer of the direct compas of the 90s, Dieudonné Larose presented himself at the municipal palace, on his return to the country.

For those who expected to see a disinterested old man in fashion, the singer plays it in rapper mode.
“My childhood was not easy contrary to what many people think” he said. After the departure for eternity of his stepfather, the singer had to take care of his family. He did everything. Even the most difficult domestic tasks were not spared to him because his mother had just given birth nine (9) days after the death of her husband. Despite the obstacles, Larose did not give up his dream of becoming a professional singer. He regrets that he could not do much for his mother.

“For those who have dreams, the only friend to have is perseverance,” he advises. “I didn’t give up on my dreams. I stuck for some time before being able to travel around the world,” said the international artist, wanting to encourage the youth of the country, especially those present at the ceremony, to believe in their dreams and to fight despite the difficult situation.

The artist Dieudonné Larose, between nostalgia and sadness, expressed his desolation before the current situation of the country. Equal to himself, the author of the hit “AKSIDAN” calls on citizens to cultivate love for their fellow man, the national consciousness which, he says, will allow the country to get out of the hole.

Larose, as he is called, also insisted on the responsibility of the state towards its citizens. According to him, provisions must be adopted in order to allow the compatriots to have access to the basic necessities of life as it was the case under the Duvaliers’ administration, he believes.

The interpreter of Mandela also promoted the national production. According to him, this is the key to the success of many countries around the world that he has the opportunity to visit during his career.
No obstacle, not even the kidnapping that is in full swing in the capital, could prevent the singer from seeing his native land again. Despite the opposition of his family, the darling of the lovers of the Compas of the 90s must return to the stage in Haiti on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He is the guest of honor of Festi Delmas.
