Three (3) alleged kidnappers were shot and another wounded by the national police on the morning of Wednesday, June 29, on John Brown Avenue, commonly called Lalue, not far from the Immigration office.
The police pursued the alleged kidnappers from Pétion-Ville to Lalue. During the confrontations, three (3) of the bandits were fatally wounded, while another one was apprehended by the police after being hit by projectiles.
The three individuals were trying to kidnap an employee of the Henry Deschamps bookstore in Pétion Ville, according to our source.
The man in question is Jean Brunel, born in Kenscoff on June 22, 1984. He was imprisoned in the National Penitentiary on December 23, 2010 for illegal possession of firearms, armed robbery and criminal association.
Jean Mario Joseph, born in Cité Soleil on April 22, 1990, was incarcerated at the National Penitentiary on September 02, 2011 for illegal possession of firearms.
Jean Michel Bien-Aimé, born in Port-au-Prince on November 06, 1979, was detained at the National Penitentiary on December 26, 2008 for criminal conspiracy and on November 06, 2017 for armed robbery, hold-up and illegal possession of firearms.
The injured man was rushed to the hospital. He is currently under the control of the national police, says our source specifying that several of these thugs affected during this operation are back to justice.
The police were alerted in time on the presence of these thugs who were driving a Toyata 4Runner of crisis color and registered: AA-09249. They had in their possession a 9mm pistol, brand SAR and serial: T1102-18BV08988.
The police are actively searching for two (2) other alleged criminals who participated in this kidnapping attempt that was thwarted by the police.
