Another victim in the Haitian National Police. The Senior Commissioner of the Haitian National Police Evangelot Bact was murdered this Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Croix-des-Bouquets. The act would have been perpetrated by the gang group led by Vitelhomme.
The population of Croix-des-Bouquets has been living a nightmare since last Saturday. Armed men are spreading terror in the commune. The Village Noailles, renowned for the production of artistic works of cut metal, was attacked on October 15 by Vitelhomme’s men. Three workshops were set on fire, including that of the three Balan women, who are the only women who practice this art.
The war between the band of 400 mawozo and that of Vitelhomme makes the situation more and more unbearable in Croix-des-Bouquets under the helpless eyes of the leaders.
