The Haitian government has received 108,000 thousand doses of Johnson and Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine from the United States of America, the U.S. Embassy in Haiti announced, while Denmark has provided 57,600 doses, according to the MSPP.
The U.S. administration continues to support Haiti in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 on the national territory. It has just granted 108,000 doses of anti-Covid19 vaccine Johnson and Johnson, to the Haitian government, through the structure COVAX, as part of the campaign against the pandemic, said the U.S. Embassy in Haiti.
The United States had already granted last July a first batch of 500 thousand doses of Moderna vaccine, while in November the country had received a new delivery of 100 thousand doses of Moderna serum, again from the U.S. government.
In the same vein, the Danish government also donated 57,600 doses of Johnson and Johnson vaccine to Haiti on Saturday through COVAX, announced the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP).
