A situation of terror has settled in since Sunday night in the neighborhoods of Torcel, Pernier, Tapage, Tabarre and the surrounding areas. According to residents of these areas, sporadic shootings were heard throughout the night of Sunday and during the day of Monday, June 20, 2022.
According to corroborating sources, these actions are the work of bandits who are part of the gang led by Vithelome, who had given an ultimatum of 72 hours to Prime Minister Ariel Henry.
Several cars were set on fire. Residents of the area were trapped in their homes.
